Lewis Campaign Gears for Big Weekend/Volunteers Needed
With only 3 days to go before One Stop Voting begins and 24 days before Election Day, our campaign is definitely in high gear.
This weekend promises to be one of the most busy yet.
Coats Farmers Day:
We definitely need some help in canvassing the town with campaign signs on Thursday before the event begins.
On Friday night, Ill be visiting the participants in the Coats Farmers Day Pig Cooking Contest.
On Saturday, my campaign will have a booth set up as a part of Coats Farmers Day Street Fair and we will be participating in the Parade. (I welcome those wanting to ride with me in the parade, its a lot of fun.) Both my campaign booth and the Republican Party Booth could use a few volunteers to aggressively campaign and pass out lapel stickers and signs.
Sunday, October 12th from 4 to 6- Hectors Creek Farms Corn Maze Presents Lewis Family Day:
We have mailed over a thousand invitations to people living in North West Harnett Prescient. We are expecting a very nice, family friendly event. I really could use 3 or 4 volunteers to help with food and to help man some of the events we have planed for the kids.
The Maze at Hectors Creek Farm is located at 274 Old Mill Rd, Fuquay-Varina. It is not too far off US 401 and there are lots of signs. I could use volunteers at about 2:30 to help get everything ready to go.
Please call Grace at (919) 820-1309 or me and let us know if you can help.
As always, we could use a few more folks to make phone calls. We have a pretty good system this year that lets you choose to make calls from a central location or from your home. If you think you can help, please call Grace at (919) 820-1309.
Remember, Friday is the last day to register. If you know anyone not registered, please encourage them to visit the Board of Elections, the local DMV Office or just call my office. Ill send someone to help them register.
As always, thank you for your continued support. Please call me with any questions or if I can be of any help.
