Lewis to Kick Off "Legislative Report" and Town Hall Meetings
Rep. David Lewis (R-Harnett) will hold a series of Town Hall Meetings across the County during the month of August. During the Meeting, Rep. Lewis will present a Report on key Legislative actions that occurred during the 2007-2008 Session of the North Carolina General Assembly. This report will include a review of the State’s $21.3 billion dollar budget and other substantive legislation that became law during the Session. Rep. Lewis will present the report at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5th at the Coats Senior Center in Coats. He will further present the report again at 6:00 Tuesday, August 5th at the Erwin Community Building. Hot dogs and chips will be served at the Erwin presentation. The public is invited to attend. Upcoming dates will be held in Anderson Creek, Angier, Dunn, Lillington, and North West Harnett County. A future release will announce those dates and times.
