Jessica's Law "Finally" Passes The House

The North Carolina House of Representatives just voted 109-1 to pass House Bill 933 - The Jessica Lundsford Act for North Carolina.

This was a "Conference Report" so if the Senate concurs, and we think they will, we have finally passed a strong law to protect North Carolina's Children.

I appreciate the hard work of all the Members of the House and Senate who helped bring this important law forward.

It has been a tough week and many of the things the House has done are not to be bragged about.  I am excited that this one good thing has been done.
