Dunn, NC- Representative David R. Lewis was once again endorsed by the National Rifle Association-Political Victory Fund and the North Carolina Right to Life Political Action Committee. These endorsements come just before the March 15th primary, where voters will have a vital say in the nomination of presidential candidates.
The National Rifle Association-Political Victory Fund is the political action arm of the NRA, and endorses candidates who show a record of supporting Second Amendment rights. Lewis was given an "A" rating by the organization for his support of pro-gun reforms that protect and strengthen Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage.
The North Carolina Right to Life PAC supports candidates that have demonstrated their strong pro-life stance through their votes for pro-life legislation.
Lewis said the following on the endorsements:
"You might recognize a different North Carolina now than in years past. North Carolina is more more committed to protecting individual rights as demonstrated by the legislation the Republican led General Assembly has passed. I will continue to fight for these conservative principles as long as I am fortunate enough to serve the people of Harnett County. We are making great strides here in North Carolina to secure the rights of North Carolinians, free up our economy from burdensome regulations, and improve the quality of life for all citizens. North Carolina is back on track; let's not stop here."
